Eligibility

A bachelor’s degree in any equivalent stream will be very helpful to enter this profession. Those giving their final year exams are also allowed to appear for the entrance examination. Certifications taken in NCC or various other examinations will also be very helpful.

How to become Assistant Commandant

The age criteria should be above 18 years or must have attained 19 years of age. There are various physical standards that are to be considered while appearing for the entrance examination. Filling of the application form is the first eligibility criteria to appear for the entrance test. The entrance test is called the Central Police Force exam –CPCE. The entrance test consists of 300 marks examination. There are two parts Part 1 consists of intelligence test and Part 2 consists of Essay writing and comprehension test. If you clear the entrance exam, then you can appear for the Physical efficiency test. Then qualifying students are then called for the medical test and then students are required to appear for the final interview. Then required or qualifying candidates are posted as per the city or state mentioned by the students.

Salary Range for Assistant Commandant

The starting salary given to the Rs 15,000, plus the other allowances that are given to the students. There salary goes on exceeding with the increase in the post and position.
