The All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE) is an engineering entrance test which is conducted on all India level. The syllabus of this exam is very wide ranging and requires months of regular studies. The examination is conducted by the Amrita University for admission to its Engineering programs.
Candidates should have their birth date on or after 1st July 1993. Candidates should have passed 10+2 (class XII) or its equivalent securing an aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 55% marks in each of these three subjects.
OR
Candidates should have completed a three year Diploma in Engineering with minimum 60% marks, awarded by any State Board of Technical Education or its equivalent.

The exam is of three hours duration and the question paper is in the English language. There is a single question paper consisting questions from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The questions are objective ones with multiple choice answers.
Each correct answer is awarded 3 marks while an incorrect answer gets a negative marking of -1 mark. There are a total of 120 questions with a total marks will be 360 for the entire paper. The division of marks for each subject is as follows:
Mathematics: 50 questions
Physics: 35 Questions
Chemistry: 35 questions
