The Biju Patnaik University of Technology conducts the Odishaa JEE for admission to MBA / MCA courses in the following universities: Utkal University, Sambalpur University, Berhampur University, North Orissa University, Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, Baripada and Pharmacy Colleges in the state of Odisha.
B.Tech
Candidates must have completed their 10+2 examination or are appearing for the same. Candidate must have studies Physics, Mathematics & one out of Chemistry/ Computer Science/Biology/Biotechnology at the 10+2 level.
B.Arch
Should have passed or appeared for 10+2 examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates must have studied Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level. In case of a 10+3 Diploma, the candidate must have passed the qualifying exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. The diploma must be recognized by central/state government.
B.Pharm
Candidate must have passed or appeared for the 10+2 of CHSE, Orissa with Physics, Chemistry & one of Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Biology.
MBBS/BDS
Passed or appeared in CHSE Orissa 10+2 examinations with Physics, Chemistry & Biology with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Age limit for the program is between 17 to 25 years of age at the time of application.
For Engineering/Technology:
Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination of CHSE, Orissa or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and one from Chemistry/ Computer Science/Biology/Biotechnology.
Or candidate must have done 10+3 diploma course in engineering including those having less than 60% marks in aggregate from SCTE&T, Orissa or equivalent.
Architecture:
Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized Board with Mathematics as a subject and at least 50% marks in aggregate. Or candidate must have done 10+3 diploma course in any stream recognized by central/state govt. with 50% aggregate marks.

The duration of OJEE is of three hours and candidates have to complete one question paper with multiple choice questions. There will be 180 questions in total and each correct answer is for 4 marks. There is no negative marking in this test.
