Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam

VITEE is an entrance examination conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering for all those aspiring for a career in engineering through the institute. The candidates can study B.Tech courses in the Vellore and Chennai campuses after clearing this test.

Eligibility

Any one of the following criteria needs to be fulfilled by the candidates who wish to appear for VITEE:

• Candidates should have passed 10+2 Examination conducted by the State Board; Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi); the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE, New Delhi)
• Candidate should have cleared an Intermediate or two year pre-university examination conducted by a recognized board/university
• High school certificate examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva
• Candidates should have studied in regular, full time and formal education system.
• An aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate) should be secured by the candidates.

Pattern

Candidates who wish to apply for engineering courses should attempt Part 1, 2 and 3. In case a candidate attempts all the four parts of VITEEE Question Paper, only the first three parts will be evaluated. There will be no negative marking in the exam. The language of the question paper will be English only.
