Common Entrance Test for Pondicherry Private Medical Colleges

The Pondicherry Linguistic and Religious Minority Medical & Dental Colleges Welfare Association holds the CET PPMC. The M.B.B.S. Entrance Exam grants candidates admission to M.B.B.S. course in these private medical colleges: Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College & Hospital, & Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College Hospital & Research Centre.

Eligibility

Candidate should have passed the H.Sc. (10+2) exam conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination. Candidate should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate in the following subjects - Biology (Botany & Zoology)/ Physics / Chemistry. The candidate should have studied English as one of the subjects at the 10+2 level exam. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age.

The syllabus for CET PPMC is based on the qualifying exam and includes the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Botany, & Zoology.

Pattern

There are two papers with objective questions. The duration to solve each test paper is 2 hours each. Paper I has questions from Physics and Chemistry, while Paper II has questions from Botany and Zoology.
