Christian Medical College & Hospital (CMC Ludhiana ) is a medical institute and has Dental College, College of Nursing, and Institute of Allied Health Sciences. The CMC UG AWT entrance test is a a national level test held by institute for admissions to undergraduate courses like MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing. There are two categories specified for admission:Category A & Category B.
Category A is Open Category: Citizens of India, belonging to any caste, religion or state are eligible for admission.
Category B is Christian category with service agreement- for Christian candidates who wish to offer their services at one of the mission hospitals of CMC. Candidates applying through Category B also have to clear a Bible Test.
Eligibility
The candidate must be an Indian National. For admission to MBBS, BDS courses, the candidate must have cleared the 10+2 (HSC) exam. The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology
The candidate must be at least 17 years old at the time of applying.
Syllabus
The syllabus of CMC Ludhiana 2014 will be the same as that of the HSC level examination.
Pattern
The test consists of a single question paper consisting of 200 questions. The questions are objective with multiple choice answers. The division of marks per subject is: Physics (50 marks), Chemistry (50 marks), Biology (50 marks), and General Aptitude (50 marks). There is no negative marking for this test.
For those candidates seeking admission under Category B mentioned above, the Bible test will be held on the same day. The test is of objective type questions with 50 questions and is based on facts from the Holy Bible (English Language only).
The Bible test marks are not considered for merit, but are necessary for Christian candidates.

Candidates have to download the application form from the official website and fill it online. The candidate has to send the print out of the filled form with the DD for the Application fee to CMC Ludhiana Society.
