Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Post Graduate Entrance Test

The Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association, have "Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka" (COMEDK). COMEDK conducts a common entrance test for Indian national candidates aspiring to pursue Post Graduate Courses in Medicine and Dentistry in the state of Karnataka, in Member Institutions of the Consortium (Medical and Dental Colleges).

Eligibility

The candidate should be a recognized M.B.B.S./B.D.S. degree holder or equivalent qualification and should have obtained permanent registration with the Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India, or any of the State Medical / Dental Council.

Syllabus

The scope of the syllabus for the Post Graduate Me dical / Dental Entrance Test is based on the M.B.B.S. / B.D.S. syllabus as prescribed by MCI / DCI, respectively.

Pattern

• There will be one test for PG Medical and one test for PG Dental Courses. Each test will have 180multiple-choice questions (MCQ) to be completed in 180 minutes (3 Hours).
• Candidates are required to mark their answers in an OMR (Optical Mark Reader) Answer Sheet.
• Each correct answer is awarded one mark. However there will be no negative marking.
