The National Board of Examinations (NBE) is responsible for conducting the FMGE Screening Test. The screening test is meant for those Indian citizens who have foreign medical certifications and wish to get a registration with the Medical Council of India.
The subjects for the syllabus and the weightage for each subject is given below.
Pre & Para-Clinical Subjects (100 marks)
Clinical Subjects (200 marks)
Candidates have to answer a single question paper with 300 objective questions with multiple choice answers. There is no negative marking for the test. Candidates have to score at least 150 marks out of the 300.
