Himachal Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Entrance Test

Himachal Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test (HPCPMT) is an entrance test for admission to medical courses in the medical colleges in Himachal Pradesh. Candidates aspiring bachelor's degree programs in medical and dental courses have to appear for this test.

Eligibility

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination of a university / board by law in India ith Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. which shall include a practical test with 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC) provided that t Candidates should have studied English as an elective subject in the above examination. Candidates’ age should be not less than 17 years and not more than 25 years at the time of application.

The syllabus for HP CPMT will be based the syllabus of 10+2 exam for Physics, Chemistry & Biology.

Pattern

The entrance exam has one question paper with 200 objective questions. The questions are either reason-assertion questions or multiple choice questions. Candidates have to complete the exam in 3 ½ hours.
