Haryana Pre-Medical Test

The Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Haryana, is responsible for conducting the HR PMT. The candidates who aspire for study undergraduate health sciences courses in the private and government dental and medical colleges in Haryana, have to pass this entrance exam.

Eligibility

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen, and resident of Haryana.
• Candidates must have passed the HSC (10+2) exam.
• Candidates should have scored not less than 50% aggregate marks in PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)
• Candidates who wish to study BAMS should have also studied and passed Sanskrit as a core subject at the 10+2 level exam.

Pattern

The entrance exam has a single question paper with 180 objective questions with multiple choice answers. Candidates have 3 hours to finish the paper. The division of questions per subject will be: Physics (45 questions), 45 (45 questions) and Biology (45 Botany and 45 Zoology).

The paper has a total of 720 marks, each correct answer gets 4 marks and for each incorrect answer there is a negative marking of -1 mark.
