Jawaharlal Nehru University Combined Entrance Exam

The entrance exam is conducted by the JNU to grant entry to the full time engineering programs offered by the university.

Eligibility

• Candidates should be B.Tech. or B.E. or equivalent degree holders.
• Candidates must have a score of at least 55% marks in the above & with mathematics till class 12th.

Pattern

The exam is divided into two sections:

Section A: There will be from the subjects Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates have to answer 60 questions in all and each correct answer will get 1 mark. There is a negative marking of -1/2 mark for each incorrect answer.

Section B: This section will also have objective questions with multiple choice answers. Candidates have to answer a total of 100 questions. Each correct answer gets 4 marks while each incorrect answer gets a score of -1 mark.

The entrance examination fee is Rs. 600 (general category & OBC candidates) and Rs. 300 (SC/ST and Physically Challenged candidates)
