For D.M. course: Candidates should have Post Graduate degree in General Medicine/ Paediatrics from a recognized University/ Body as per the requirements of the Medical Council of India. For M.Ch. courses: Candidates should have Post Graduate degree in General Surgery from a recognized University/ Body as per the requirements of the Medical Council of India.
The syllabus for MGMCRI entrance test is based on the subjects studied by the candidates at the qualifying exams mentioned above.
The entrance test is divided into two papers, and the candidate has three hours to complete each paper.
Paper I (100 questions): Anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, pharmacology, microbiology, forensic medicine & toxicology.
Paper II (150 questions): Medicine, surgery, obstetrics, gynaecology, community medicine, paediatrics, ophthalmology, orthopedics, ENT, anesthesiology, dermatology, psychiatry, radio diagnosis and radio therapy.
