The Government of Maharashtra conducts the entrance exam called MH SSET. This exam is conducted for select the candidates for admission to all M.Ch. & D.M. Super specialty courses at the Medical Colleges/Institutions in the state of Maharashtra.
There are two parts in the syllabus: The first part includes the following subjects:
Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, PSM, FMT Medicine, Paediatrics, Skin-VD & / Leprosy, Psychiatry, TB-Chest, Surgery, Orthopedics ENT, Radiology / Radiotherapy, Anesthesia, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics & Gynecology
The second part includes the broad speciality subjects (MD or MS).
The entrance exam has multiple choice objective type questions. There are a total of 150 questions and every question carries one marks. Questions for 100 marks will be from the subjects from the MBBS course, and questions for 50 marks will test the candidate's respective broad specialties in MD or MS.
Candidates have 2 .30 hours to finish the exam. Each correct answer is awarded 1 (One) mark. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
