Rajasthan Pre-Medical Test

The Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) conducts the RPMT. The candidates who wish to pursue under graduate medical courses have to pass this exam to be eligible for admissions to institutes and colleges in the state of Rajasthan.

Eligibility

• Candidate must have passed the 10+2 level exam from a recognized university or study board.
• Candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in PCB (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) in the above exam.
• Candidates should have reached the age of 17 years on 31st December of the year of application.

Syllabus

The syllabus for RPMT is based on the syllabus of 10+2 level exam for the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Pattern

The test has two papers:

Paper I: Physics & Chemistry: 50 questions each, 150 marks each. 2 hours to complete the paper.

Paper II: Botany & Zoology: 50 questions each, 150 marks each. 2 hours to complete the paper.

There are a total of 300 marks in total for the test, with multiple choice questions. Each correct answer gets 3 marks and an incorrect answer gets negative marking of -1.
