Uttaranchal Pre-Medical Test

Uttaranchal council of entrance examination is responsible for conducting the Uttrakhand Common Pre Medical Entrance Exam (UPMT). The candidates who pass this exam can take admission in any of the M.B.B.S., B.H.M.S., B.D.S., B.A.M.S. and courses in its associated colleges.

Eligibility

• Candidate must have passed 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects.
• Candidates must have scored at least 50% aggregate in this exam
• Candidates should have reached the age of 17yrs on 31st December of the year of application.

Syllabus

The syllabus for this medical entrance test is based on the syllabus of 11th & 12 standards with the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Pattern

The UPMT question paper has objective questions with multiple choice answers. The division of marks is:

• Physics (50 questions, 50 marks)
• Chemistry (50 questions, 50 marks)
• Botany (50 questions, 50 marks)
• Zoology (50 questions, 50 marks)

The question paper will be of 200 marks in total and the candidates have 3 hours to complete the paper. Candidates will also have the option to select Hindi or English language question paper.
