Junior Translator (CSOL) Exam

The Junior translator holds examination for the post of junior translators in India. This is a group B examination conducted in all the parts of India. This is a type of examination that is conducted for the candidates to provide employment in the areas of the translation.

Eligibility

• The students should have a Post graduate examination from the recognized university or recognized institute.
• The Post graduate should be in the subject of economics.
• The students can also have a Post graduation from the Indian university .
• The students should have a PG degree in subjects like:-Hindi, English and or elective subjects.
• The students having diploma in these subjects are also welcomed.

Syllabus

• The syllabus consists of English and Hindi.
• For the post of Indian economic service, you need to appear for the above mentioned subjects .
• The age criteria should be less than 30 years.
• For the post of Indian statistical service, students need to appear for the subjects like:- English and Hindi.

Pattern

• Students need to appear for the entrance test at their respective examination centres.
• The test pattern consists of two papers. Paper 1 consists of English and Hindi language test.
• The test pattern II contains translations and essays.
• The examination is conducted for 200 marks each.
• The exam duration is for two hours.
• The qualified students will be called for the interview followed by the personality test.
• The personality test is of 200 marks again.
