Section Officer (Commercial) Exam

The section officer audit exam is held by the staff selection commission of India. This examination is for Group B gazetted officers for the post of Auditors and controllers that are required everywhere in the central government departments. The examination is conducted to recruit students from all over India.

Eligibility

• The students should have a bachelor’s degree from the recognized university or recognized institute.
• The students can do graduation from any streams and from any recognized university.
• The students who are giving their final year examination, can also apply for the same .
• The students who have appeared for the chartered accountant examination or Computer secretary (CS) examination.

Syllabus

• The syllabus consists of General English and General awareness subjects.
• The syllabus prescribed is for the written examination.
• The age criteria should be in between 18-35 years.
• The papers consists of written examination and interview test.
• The total written examination is for 400 marks.

Pattern

• The students need to appear for the entrance test at their respective examination centres.
• There are subjects such as general awareness, mathematics and English language.
• The written examination consists of written test with the specified subjects.
• The students are then called for the personality test round for 200 marks.
• The qualified students will be called for the interview followed by the personality test.

• The students who meet the above criteria can fill the application forms that are given at the university’s website http://ssc.nic.in/SSC.html
• The students should send the application forms with the attested certificate copies of their documents on the address prescribed in the application forms.
