The full bright Nehru fellowships which are now available for outstanding Indian who wish to pursue their master’s at some of the most prestigious colleges and universities in the United States.
The scholarship covers courses in arts and culture management, including heritage conservation and museum studies, environmental science/studies, higher education administration, public health, urban and regional planning and women’s studies/gender studies.
In terms of the eligibility part, applicants should hold an equivalent of a US bachelor’s degree from a recognized Indian university with at least fifty five percent marks and demonstrate leadership qualities.
Applicants should either have a four year bachelor’s degree or a master’s , if the bachelor’s degree is of less than four years duration.
The fellowship will provide benefits like round trip economy class air travel, funding for tuition and fees, living costs etc.
Candidates enrolled for PhD programmes at Indian institutions are eligible for the Fulbright-Nehru doctoral research fellowships.
The last date to apply is 1 July 2013.
