Armed Forces Medical College has invited applications for admission to its 130 seats of MBBS course for session 2014.

Admissions will be based on the scores of AIPMT 2014 followed by the AFMC selection procedure. Selected candidates will be required to serve in the Armed Forces Medical Services for seven years after the completion of their MBBS studies.

Eligibility Conditions

  1. Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the first attempt with minimum overall 60 per cent aggregate marks and not less than 50 per cent marks in each individual subject.
  2. Candidate must also be unmarried and medically fit to be considered for admission to the MBBS course at AFMC.
  3. He must have appeared for AIPMT 2014.

Admission procedure

Short-listed candidates on the basis of marks in AIPMT 2014 will be called for the admission procedure at AFMC. Candidates will then be required to complete a computer-based test of English language, Comprehension, Logic and Reasoning (ToELR) consisting of 40 multiple choice questions, followed by a psychological assessment/interview.

How to apply

Interested candidates can complete the application process online using their AIPMT 2014 roll number. Also keep ready a scanned copy of your recent passport-sized photograph and signature. Once you have applied successfully, a bank challan will be generated for payment of fees. Last date for generation of the bank challan is May 17, 2014.

Application fee

Rs 250 to be submitted at any branch of State Bank of India through the bank challan generated at time of application. Last date for submission of fees is May 20, 2014.
