Applications are invited from knowledgeable and skillful Indian candidates for various Scientist posts under Advertisement No. 03/2012, for the following positions in various departments and organizations:

• Deputy Director General
• National Director
• Assistant Director General
• Director
• Zonal Project Director
• Joint Director
• Head of Divisions (HOD)
• Principal Scientists
• Senior Scientists 

Note

• Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in academic, working experience and personal interview. Only short-listed candidates will be called for the interview, by the screening committee.

• Required qualification as per Board norms

• Rs.500 (Exempted for SC / ST / PH / Women candidates)
• $ 50: Foreign candidates

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, can download the application format from the official link of ASRB: http://asrb.org.in/index.php?option=com_download&Itemid=8
  
  
• For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD for Rs.500, drawn in favor of Secretary, Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board, payable at New Delhi.
  
  
• Candidates should mention their name, address, name of the post, advertisement no. and item no. on the reverse side of the DD.
  
  
• Revised Application Form 2012 for Direct Selection, neatly printed, duly complete in all respect, along with the DD, affixed recent passport-size photograph, two self-addressed envelopes (27 x 12 cm), and self-attested copies of all certificates should be submitted to:

• Candidates belonging to far-flung areas should send their application form before 5^th Dec, 2012.
  
  
• Candidates should mention “Name of the Post, Advertisement No. & Item No.” on the top of the one envelope, in which the form would be sent, and on another envelope, candidates should mention “Name of the Post with Advertisement No. & Item No., and their Name & Postal Address” on the top of the envelope, as it will be sent along with the application form.
  
  
• Candidates applying for various posts should apply with separate application form for each post.
