Department of Physics, Alagappa University, Karaikudi, has invited applications for recruitment 2011, for the posts of Teaching Assistant.

Note

• The posts are purely temporary and the tenure will last up to March 2012 or till the assistant professor vacancies are filled (whichever is earlier).
• Selection will be made on the basis of interview, which is scheduled to be held on December 23, 2011 at 11.00 am at the Department of Physics (Science Block 1 Floor), Alagappa University.

Eligibility Conditions

 Should have obtained M Sc (Physics or Applied Physics or Materials Science or Equivalent) plus M Phil (Physics) or M Tech (Materials Science) or Ph D (Physics)

How to Apply

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply for the post, are required to send their application on plain paper with complete bio-data and xerox copies of supportive documents / certificate(s) to Dr C Sanjeeviraja, Professor and Head, Department of Physics (Science Block), Alagappa University (Re-accredited with ‘A’ Grade by NAAC), Karaikudi - 630002
• One can send the prescribed application through email to the designated person on email ID: sanjeeviraja@rediffmail.com (Preferred mode of application)
• One has to appear for the interview, which is scheduled to be held on December 23, 2011 at 11.00 am at the Department of Physics (Science Block 1 Floor), Alagappa University, since interview call letter will not be communicated to individual candidates.
