Applications are invited from eligible and proficient Indian aspirants for the posts of Specialist Officers for the following positions:

• Officer (Information Technology) (JMG Scale I)
• Officer (Official Language) (JMG Scale I)
• Civil Engineer (JMG Scale I)
• Officer (Law) (JMG Scale I)
• Manager (Law) (MMG Scale II) 

Note

• Candidates’ selection will be made on the basis of their IBPS CWE Specialist Officers 2012 Score Card, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Only short-listed candidates will be called for the group discussion and interview. The group discussion & interview schedule, and centre address will be mentioned in the candidates’ call letter.

Eligibility Conditions 

For Officer (Information Technology) (JMG Scale I)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Computer Applications / Information Technology / Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunications / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation from a recognized University / Institute
            Or
  Master’s Degree in Electronics / Electronics &Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation / Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Applications from a recognized University / Institute
         Or
  Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University / Institute with Certificate of DOEACC ‘B’ level
  
  
• Should have IBPS CWE Specialist Officer valid cut off of minimum 128 (General) and 120 (reserved categories)

For Officer (Official Language) (JMG Scale I)

• Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level from a recognized University / Institute
         Or
  Master’s Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the degree level from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Should have IBPS CWE Specialist Officer valid cut off of minimum 96 (General) and 90 (reserved categories)

For Civil Engineer (JMG Scale I)

• Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering in Civil from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Should have IBPS CWE Specialist Officer valid cut off of minimum 120 (General) and 113 (reserved categories)

For Officer (Law) (JMG Scale I)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Should have IBPS CWE Specialist Officer valid cut off of minimum 121 (General) and 113 (reserved categories)

For Manager (Law) (MMG Scale II)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Minimum 3 years of experience practice at Bar or Judicial service or should be an Law Officer in the Legal Department of a reputed Bank / Central / State Government / Public Sector Undertaking with practice at Bar
  
  
• Should have IBPS CWE Specialist Officer valid cut off of minimum 121 (General) and 113 (reserved categories) 

Required Age

• 20-35 years: Officers & Civil Engineer
• 21-40 years: Manager (Law)
• Age relaxation for the SC / ST / OBC / PWD candidates provided as per Government norms 

Application Fee

• Rs.100 General / OBC candidates
• Rs.20 SC / ST / PWD candidates

• Online registration will began from 29^th May, 2012 and will close on  11^th Jun, 2012.
  
  
• Before filling the online application form, candidates have to pay a fee amount of Rs.100 / Rs.20, through Challan, in any branch of Allahabad Bank, in the Account No. 50104512410, in the name & style of ALLAHABAD BANK SPECIALIST OFFICERS’ RECRUITMENT PROJECT-2012-13.
  
  
• Fees payment began from 29^th May, 2012 and will close on  11^th Jun, 2012. After payment of the fees, the bank will generate a Candidate’s Challan Copy with information of Branch Name & Code No., Journal No., and Date of Deposit & Amount, which candidates are required to fill in the online application form for its completion.
  
  
• After successful submission of the application form, the system will generate a Registration Number and Password, which candidates should keep with them for future reference.
  
  
• After submitting the application form, candidates should take a printout of the filled-in application form, as it will have to be submitted at the time of interview along with the fee payment Challan copy and attested copies of all relevant certificates.
