Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Invites All the eligible candidates for Engineering Entrance Examination for admission to the 4 year B.Tech Degree programmes offered in the three campuses at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru and Ettimadai (Coimbatore).
Note
Amrita Entrance Exam is scheduled on 22nd April, 2012. The entrance exam is of 3 hour duration. It will be conducted in 78 cities.
Important Dates
- Issue of Application forms begin : 20th Dec, 2011
- Last date of issue of application forms : 27th March, 2012
- Last date for receiving completed applications : 30th March, 2012 (OMR & On-line)
- Entrance Exam Date : 22nd April, 2012
Eligiblity Conditions
- Educational Qualification: A pass in the final examination of 10+2 (class XII) or its equivalent securing 60% marks or above in Mathematics, 55% or above separately in Physics and Chemistry with an aggregate of 60% in the three subjects. OR
- A three year Diploma in Engineering with minimum 60% marks,awarded by any State Board of Technical Education.
- Seat allotment through Counselling will be based on the eligibility and rank obtained by the Candidate in the Amrita Entrance Examination - Engineering.
Required Age
- Candidates shall be born on or after 1st July, 1991.

How to get Application forms:
By post, from the Admission Co-ordinators of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore, on a written request indicating their full communication address together with a Demand Draft for Rs. 850/- drawn in favour of Amrita School of Engineering payable at Coimbatore. (OR)
From the University counter of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore on producing a demand draft for Rs. 850/- as above. (OR)
From the designated branches of Post Office, AXIS Bank, Dhanalaxmi Bank, Corporation Bank, Federal Bank and State Bank of India on payment of Rs. 850/-. Click here to view the branches. (OR)
Online Application: Apply online with the payment gateway. (OR)
Semi Online Application: Apply through website and submit the Application printout in good quality A4 size paper, duly signed, along with Demand Draft for Rs. 850/- drawn in favour of Amrita School of Engineering payable at Coimbatore and a passport size colour photograph affixed in the specified location.
Note
- Candidates should write his/ her Name and also "B.Tech Application" on the back of the DD. Please keep a photocopy of the Application and DD with you for future reference.
- Application Fee: Application fee is Rs. 850/-, which covers the cost of Application Form, University Brochure, Information Handbook and Examination fee. Application fee once paid will not be refunded.
