• Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of written examination and walking test.
• Only written examination qualified candidates will be called for the walking test.
• The examination schedule and centre address will be mentioned in the candidate’s hall ticket.

Eligibility Conditions 

For Forest Section Officer (FSO)

• Bachelor's Degree in Botany / Forestry / Horticulture / Zoology / Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics / Geology / Agriculture or Bachelor's Degree of Engineering in Chemical Engineering  / Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute

For Forest Beat Officer (FBO)

• Passed Intermediate examination or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board
• Assistant Beat Officer (ABO) / Thanadar / Bungalow watcher (BW) / Plantation Watcher (PW)
• Passed 10th class examination or its equivalent exam from a recognized Board / School

Required Age

• Candidates should be above the age of 18 years and below the age of 30 years (Age relaxation for SC / ST / BC candidates as per government norms)

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, can download the application format from the official link of Andhra Pradesh Forest Department: http://forest.ap.nic.in/Recruitments.htm
• Application form, duly complete in all respect, along with photocopies of all required Certificates / Documents, should be submitted to the Divisional Forest Officer, at concerned division address as mentioned in the advertisement, by post on or before April 23, 2012.
• Candidates applying for various posts should apply with separate application form for each post.
