Applications are invited from eligible candidates for distance learning admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) programs for 2012. 

Eligibility Conditions

For MBA

• Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Candidate should pass in the Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET) conducted by Anna University.

For MCA

• Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university.
• The candidate should have studied core mathematics either at +2 level or Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer oriented subject as one of the subjects at the degree level
• A pass in the Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET) conducted by the CDE, Anna University

Application Procedure

• Candidate has to submit the completed application form to the following address mentioned “The Director, Centre for Distance Education, Anna University Chennai, Chennai 600 025” so as to reach him on or before the last date.  The Last date for issue of application forms and receipt of completed applications for the academic year 2012 - 13 is Monday, July 9, 2012. Candidates sending the applications by post should mail them sufficiently early. 

Note:The university is not responsible for any postal delay/loss in transit. Completed applications received by post after the stipulated date will not be considered for the particular batch.

Selection Procedure

• Candidates will be selected based on the Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET) entrance exam conducted by Anna University Centre for Distance Education.

Important Dates

• Last date for receipt of requisition for issue of application form by post: Monday, 2^nd July, 2012
• Last date for issue of application forms and receipt of completed applications: Monday,  9^th July, 2012
• Tentative date of entrance test for MBA and MCA: Sunday,  29^th July, 2012 (10.00 am to 12.00 noon).
