Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into full-time and part-time PhD program 2018 session under ‘Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme for Electronics and IT’ in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering as sanctioned by the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Govt. of India. 

Number of Seats

• Full-time PhD – 05
• Part-time PhD – 05 

Eligibility Conditions 

• Applicants must have done a postgraduate degree in relevant discipline form a recognized university/institute. 

Application Form

• Application form can be downloaded from the Annamalai University website www.annamalaiuniversity.ac.in. A demand draft (DD) for Rs.1500/- towards the application fee in favour of The Registrar, Annamalai University obtained on after 22^nd Feb 2018 (Tentative) from any nationalized bank/scheduled bank payable at Chennai should be enclosed with the filled in application form. 

• The filled in downloaded application without demand draft (DD) will not be accepted. 

• The filled in application along with the enclosures shall be sent to the Registrar, Annamalai University, Annamalainagar-608002. 

Admission Dates 2018 (Tentative)

• Issue of Application Form: 22^nd Feb, 2018
• Last Date for Issue/Receipt of filled in Application Form: 27^th Feb, 2018
• Date of Entrance Exam & Interview: 28^th Feb, 2018
• Shortlisted applicants for the entrance exam & interview will be intimated through SMS
