The Assam Public Service Commission has invited applications from interested and eligible candidates to apply for the positions of Assistant Professor and Lecturer as given below:
Total posts: 280
- Assistant Professor: 81
- Lecturer: 199
Eligibility Conditions
Educational Qualification:
Aspiring candidates should have B.E/B.Tech and M.E/M .Tech in relevant engineering with first class or equivalent either in B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M .Tech or must possess a good academic record with at least 55% marks at the master degree level in relevant discipline.
Note: They should have cleared NET/SLET/SET and/or PhD in accordance with the UGC Regulation, 2009
Age Limit:
Aspiring candidates must not exceed 43 years and must be minimum 21 years.
Pay Scale
For Assistant Professor:
The selected candidates will be getting a monthly salary of Rs 15,600 to Rs 39,100, along with a grade pay of Rs 6,000.
For Lecturer:
The selected candidates will be getting a monthly salary of Rs 15,600 to Rs 39,100, along with a grade pay of Rs 5,400.
Selection process
The candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test/interview.
