Applications are invited from eligible and skilful male domicile of Assam State, for the following positions:

• Station Officer
• Sub-Officer
• Fireman
• Emergency Rescuer 

Note

• Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in Physical Measurement & Fitness Test, Written Test, Physical Test and Interview for the posts of Station Officer and Sub-Officer. For the posts of Fireman and Emergency Rescuer, candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical Measurement & Fitness Test, Physical Test and Interview. The test will be conducted at Regional Training Centre, Sila, North Guwahati. 

• Candidates short-listed on the basis of tests will be called for the Interview. The schedule of test / interview will be intimated to all candidates, by the selection committee. Eligibility Conditions

For Station Officer

• B.Sc. Degree of Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board / Institute
  
  
• Should have good knowledge of Swimming and Diving

For Sub-Officer

• H Sc in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board / Institute
  
  
• Should have good knowledge of Swimming and Diving

For Fireman / Emergency Rescuer

• Passed H Sc in Science or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board / Institute
  
  
• Should have good knowledge of swimming and diving 

Age Limit

• 20-24 years: Station Officer / Sub-Officer
• 18-25 years: Fireman / Emergency Rescuer
• Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC candidates provided as per Govt. norms
