Applications are invited from eligible  candidates for admission into following 1 year programme for 2014. Admission to Banasthali Vidyapith is open to women candidates only.

• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Economics
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in History
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Sociology
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Political Science
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Hindi
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Sanskrit
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in English (ELT)
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Music (Vocal/Instruments)/Drawing
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Mathematical Science

Eligibility Conditions

For M.Phil in Economics, History, Sociology, Political Science, Hindi, Sanskrit and English (ELT)\

• Candidates should have 55% aggregate in M.A.

For M.Phil in Music (Vocal/Instrument)/Drawing

• Candidates should have 50% aggregate in M.A in Music/Drawing.

For M.Phil in Mathematical Science

• Candidates should have 55% aggregate in M.A/ M.Sc. in Mathematical Science.

How to Apply

• Candidates will have to send a DD for Rs. 800 in favor of "Banasthali Vidyapith" payable at Banasthali/Jaipur to
  
  Secretary - Banasthali Vidyapith
  P.O. Banasthali Vidyapith - 304022 (Rajasthan).
  
  
• Prospectus and form can also be obtained in person upon payment of Rs.700 in cash.
  
  
• Online submission of application is also possible at the university's website: http://www.banasthali.org.

Selection Procedure            

• Admission to M.Phil in Economics, History, Sociology, Political Science, Hindi, Sanskrit and English (ELT) and Music (Vocal/Instrument)/Drawing programs shall be based on merit-cum-aptitude test to be held in June, 2014.
  
  
• Admission to M.Phil in Mathematical Science program shall be based upon merit in the qualifying examination.

Important Dates

• Last date of submission of application form: 30^th Apr, 2014 (Wednesday)
• Last date of submission of application form with late fee: 15^th May, 2014 (Thursday)
