Bangiya Gramin Vikash Bank (BGVB ) Invites the  Eligible Candidate for  the Recruitment of Officers in Middle Management Scale & Junior Management Scale.

Available Posts and Payscale:  

  • Scale-III : 02 Posts Pay Scale : Rs.25,700/-  to Rs.31,500/-
  • Scale-II : 24 Posts , Pay Scale : Rs.19,400/-  to Rs.28,100/-
  • Scale-I : 31 Posts, Pay Scale : Rs.14,500/-  to Rs.25,700/-

Important Dates:

  • Online Registration: Till 30thAug, 2011
  • Date of Written Exam: Officers : 16th Oct, 2011

Eligibility Condititons :

For Officers Age Limit As On 1st July,2011:

  • Officer Middle Management Scale-III(Post code - 1) : Min 21 years — Max 40 years
  • Officer Middle Management Scale-II  (Post code - 2): Min 21 years – Max 32 years
  • Officer Junior Management Scale-I (Post code - 3): Min 18 years – Max 28 years

Note : The candidate should be a domicile of West Bengal and should have proficiency in local language(s).

The selection of the candidates shall be on the basis of written test and interview. Written test will be of Objective Type Consisiting of :-

  • For Post Code- 1 and 2 (Officer Scale-III and Scale-II):-
    • Reasoning, Quantiitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation, Financial Awareness and Genaral english. Each part having 50 questions and a total time of 150 min. for 200 questions.
  • For Post Code- 3(Officer Scale-I) :-
    • Reasoning, Numerical Ability,General Knowledge and Genaral english. Each part having 50 questions and a total time of 150 min. for 200 questions.
    • The candidates passing the written test will qualify for interview in ratio of 1:4 depending upon number of Vacancies .

How to Apply :

Application fee : Rs.400(OBC/GEN)/-  (Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD) . 

To be paid by through Payment challan at any  United  Bank of Indiabranches before 30 Aug. After making the payment, candidates have to submit the application online at bank website and take a print-out for future reference.
