Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the posts of General Banking Officer in Scale I, for North Eastern States. Appointment of the candidates is to be done for various North Eastern States i.e., Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Sikkim, and Tripura. 

Note

• Candidates’ selection will be made on the basis of their performance in the IBPS CWE September 2011 / November 2011 Total Weighted Standard Score (TWS) and Personal Interview. The interview will be conducted in the month of July-August 2012. Only short-listed candidates will be called for the interview. The interview schedule and centre address will be mentioned in the candidates’ call letter.

Online registration began from  25^th May, 2012 and will close on  12^th Jun, 2012. Eligibility Conditions 

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Candidates should have IBPS CWE September 2011 / November 2011, Total Weighted Standard Score (TWSS) of minimum 24 & above (General) and minimum 21 & above (Reserved category) in each section. 

Required Age

• Candidates should be above the age of 21 years and below the age of 30 years.
• Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / PWD / EXS candidates provided as per government norms.

• Rs.100 For General / Others
• Rs.20 For SC / ST / PWD / EXS candidates

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, can fill the online application form by visiting the official link of Bank of India: http://ibpsreg.sifyitest.com/boigbo0512/
  
  
• Online registration began from  25^th May, 2012 and will close on  12^th Jun, 2012.
  
  
• Before filling the application form, candidates are required to pay-in the application fee of Rs.100 / Rs.20 through Challan, which can be downloaded from the official link of Bank of India: http://www.bankofindia.com/career.aspx
  
  
• Candidates can pay the fee amount in any branch of Bank of India, in the Account Name & Account No. mentioned on the Challan, from  25^th May, 2012 till 12^th Jun, 2012.
  
  
• After paying the application fee through Challan, the bank will generate a Branch Transaction Journal No., Branch Code, Branch Name, and Date of Deposit & Amount, which the candidates are required to fill in the online application form for completing their form.
  
  
• Candidates should keep the  Challan Copy  with them as proof, as it will have to be submitted at the time of interview, along with the call letter.
  
  
• After successful submission of the application form, the system will generate a complete application form with unique Registration No. / Roll No. and Password, which the candidates are required to print out, as it will have to be submitted at the time of Interview, along with attested Xeroxed copies of all required certificates and Challan copy.
