All the eligible candidates are invited for various posts in following discipline:

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
• Research Associate
• Project Assistant

Note

• The abovementioned posts are being offered by Centre of Excellence for Green Energy and Sensor Systems, BESU, Shibpur, Howrah, for the DST project titled “Solar Photovoltaic Hub at BESU”.

Eligibility Conditions

 For Junior Research Fellow

• Category – I: Should have obtained Post-graduate degree in Physics (specialization in solid state physics or electronics) / Electronic Science or equivalent with NET / GATE
• Category – II: Should have obtainedBE / B Tech in Electronics / Electrical Engineering / Chemical Engineering (should be GATE qualified)
• Category – III: Should have obtainedM Tech in Material Science & Technology / Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Chemical Engineering
• Should have one year’s experience in semiconductor materials and device processing, modeling

For Research Associate:

• Should have obtained PhD in Science / Engineering or ME / M Tech in Material Science & Technology / Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering / Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years research experience in relevant field
• Should have experience in Fabrication / Characterization / Modeling and Simulation of Semiconductor Devices / Crystalline and Amorphous Silicon Solar Cells / Sinanostructures / Solar Photovoltaic Systems / Electrical Power Systems

For Project Assistant:

• Should have obtained Graduate degree in Science / Commerce or Diploma in Engineering disciplines or equivalent or Higher Secondary or equivalent with minimum 3 years working experience in Engineering projects and laboratories

• Any other relevant information etc.
• Applications duly complete in the abovementioned format, along with requisite documents (attested photocopies of mark sheets and certificates / testimonials) and one passport-size photograph, should be sent by post to Professor H Saha, Centre of Excellence for Green Energy and Sensor Systems, Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur, Howrah -711103, latest by December 16, 2011 (up to 4.00 pm).
• However, candidates must send an advanced copy of the application by email to the email ID(s): sahahiran@gmail.com with a copy to nilsci@yahoo.co.uk.
• Candidates should write “Post Applied for ______” on the top of the envelope / email.
