Age Limit

• The age of the candidate should not be less than 22 years and should not be more than 35 years. The age of the candidate should be as on 1^st Aug, 2016. 

Qualification

• Candidates should have hold a bachelor degree in law from a recognized university / institute / college and recognized by the Bar Council of India. 

Selection Procedure

• The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of written examination and personal interview depending on the number of applications received. 

Age Relaxation

The upper age of the candidates applying for the position of civil judge is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below:-

• By 5 years for candidates belonging to ST communities.
• By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC communities.
• By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities. 

Application fee

• Candidates applying for the position of civil judge are required to pay application fee Rs. 200/- for Schedule caste categories candidates (SC) / Schedule tribe categories candidates (ST) of Bihar and Rs. 600/- for all other categories candidates. Application fee to be deposited in any branch of State bank of India through Challan.
