Applications are invited from highly qualified science scholars for various research posts. The recruitment for various research positions, namely, SRF / JRF / Project Assitant, is to be done for the following Projects: 

Project 1: Development of Micro Satellite Markers and Assessment of Population Genetic Diversity for Economically important Forest Species (Parkia roxburgii) in North- East India”, funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India

• Senior Research Fellow (SRF) or Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Project 2: Documentation, Demographic Assessment and Conservation of Wild Edible Fruit Diversity of Arunachal Pradesh, funded by SERB, Government of India

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF) or Project Assistant (Level 1) 

Note

• The appointment is to be done on contract basis for a period of one year. The competent authority will give further extension to the candidates after scrutinizing their performance during the job. Selection will be made on the basis of candidates’ performance in Walk-in Interview.

Eligibility Conditons

For Project 1:

JRF / SRF:

• Master's Degree in Forestry / Agriculture Horticulture / Botany / Life Sciences from a recognized University / College.
  
  
• Candidates should be NET qualified, and have good working knowledge of Computers.

Project 2:

JRF:

• Master's Degree in Forestry / Botany / Life Sciences / Agriculture / Horticulture from a recognized University / College.
  
  
• Should have work experience in remote areas, and have sound knowledge of Computer Applications.

Project Assistant:

• B Sc Degree in Biological Sciences from a recognized University / College
  
  
• Should have good knowledge of Computer Applications.

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria, can appear for the Walk-in-Interview.
  
  
• Candidates should bring their detailed Bio-data, with passport size photograph, and Original & photocopies of all requisite documents, along with them on the day of interview.
