Applications are invited from eligible, talented and experienced professionals for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2013, for recruitment. 

Note

• Candidates’ appointment is to be done as Class I to Class VIII Teachers. Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in Written Examination (Paper I & Paper II) and Personal Interview. In written examination, Paper I is for Class I to Class V teachers and Paper II is for Class VI to Class VIII teachers. The written examination is schedule to be held on 28^th Jul, 2013. Examination centre and address will be mentioned in the candidates’ admit card. 

• Candidates can register online by visiting the official link of CTET: http://ctet.nic.in/ctetjuly2013/welcome.aspx. Online registration began from 15^th Mar, 2013 and will be closed on 16^th Apr, 2013. For the complete details regarding examination and eligibility, candidates can visit the official website of CBSE: http://cbse.nic.in/welcome.htm. 

Eligibility Conditions 

For Teachers of Classes I-V (Primary Stage)

• Passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, and passed or appearing in final year of two years of Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
                                    Or
  Passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 45% marks in aggregate, and passed or appearing in final year of two years of Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002
                                     Or
  Passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, and passed or appearing in final year of four years of Bachelor of Elementary Education (B El Ed)
                                      Or
  Passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, and passed or appearing in final year of two years of Diploma in Education (Special Education)
                                    Or
  Bachelor’s Degree and passed or appearing in final year of two year of Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

For Teacher of Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage)

• Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline, and passed or appearing in final year of two year of Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
                                      Or
  Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, and passed or appearing in one year of Bachelor in Education (B Ed)
                                       Or
  Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 45% marks in aggregate, and passed or appearing in one year of Bachelor in Education (B Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard
                                     Or
  Passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and passed or appearing in final year of four year of Bachelor in Elementary Education (B El Ed)
                                   Or
  Passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, and passed or appearing in final year of four year of BA / B Sc Ed or BA Ed / B Sc Ed
                                  Or
  Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and passed or appearing in one year of B Ed (Special Education)

Application Fee

• Rs.500 (Paper I / Paper II) or Rs 800 (Both Papers): General & Others candidates
• Rs.250 (Paper I / Paper II) or Rs 400 (Both Papers): SC / ST / PWD candidates 

How to Apply

• Willing candidates can fill online application form by visiting the official link of CTET: http://ctet.nic.in/ctetjuly2013/welcome.aspx
  
  
• Online registration began from 15^th Mar, 2013 and will be closed on 16^th Apr, 2013.
  
  
• Candidates can pay the application fees (request amount) through Challan, in any branch of Syndicate Bank, in the CBSE Account No. on the Challan, or with e-Post Office in favor of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi, or by Debit / Credit Card.
  
  
• After successful submission of the application form, the system will generate a Confirmation Page with unique Registration Number, which candidates should print out and use it for the further process.
  
  
• Printed Confirmation Page with affixed passport-size photograph & duly signed, along with the DD, should be submitted to:

  Delhi – 110092                                   by registered / speed post on or before 22^nd Apr, 2013.
  
  
• Candidates belonging to far-flung areas can send their Confirmation Page latest by 29^th Apr, 2013.
  
  
• Candidates should mention “Application For CTET-July 2013” on the envelope (size 12 cm x 9 cm) in which the form would be sent.
