Applications are invited from qualified and talented professionals for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) November 2012, for recruitment. 

Note

• Appointment of the candidates is to be done for Class I to Class VIII Teachers. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Written Examination (Paper I & Paper II) and Personal Interview. In written examination, Paper I is for Class I to Class V teachers and Paper II is for Class VI to Class VIII teachers. The written examination is scheduled to be held on 18^th Nov, 2012. Examination centre and address will be mentioned in the candidates’ admit card. 

• Candidates can register online by visiting the official link of CBSE: http://cbse.nic.in/. Online registration commences from 1^st Aug, 2012 and will be closed on 31^st Aug, 2012. For complete details regarding examination and eligibility, candidates can visit the official website of CBSE: http://cbse.nic.in/welcome.htm. 

Eligibility Conditions

For Teachers of Classes I-V (Primary Stage)

• Passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and passed or appearing in final year of two years of Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
      Or
  Passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 45% marks in aggregate and passed or appearing in final year of two years of Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002
        Or
  Passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and passed or appearing in final year of four years of Bachelor of Elementary Education (B El Ed)
         Or
  Passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and passed or appearing in final year of two years of Diploma in Education (Special Education)
        Or
  Bachelor’s Degree and passed or appearing in final year of two year of Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

For Teacher of Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage)

• Bachelor’s Degree and passed or appearing in final year of two year of Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
        Or
  Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and passed or appearing in one year of Bachelor in Education (B Ed)
        Or 
  Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 45% marks in aggregate and passed or appearing in one year of Bachelor in Education (B Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard
        Or 
  Passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and passed or appearing in final year of four year of Bachelor in Elementary Education (B El Ed)
      Or
  Passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and passed or appearing in final year of four year of BA / B Sc Ed or BA Ed / B Sc Ed
     Or
  Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and passed or appearing in one year of B Ed (Special Education) 

Application Fee

• Rs.500 (Paper I / Paper II) or Rs 800 (Both Papers): General & Others candidates
• Rs.250 (Paper I / Paper II) or Rs 400 (Both Papers): SC / ST / PWD candidates 

How to Apply

• Willing candidates can fill the online application form by visiting the official link of CBSE: http://cbse.nic.in/
  
  
• Online registration commences from 1^st Aug, 2012 and will close on 31^st Aug, 2012.
  
  
• For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD for Rs.800 / Rs.500 / Rs.400 / Rs.250 from any nationalized bank, drawn in favor of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, payable at Delhi.
  
  
• Candidates should mention their registration no., name, address and contact no. on the reverse side of the DD.
  
  
• After successful submission of the application form, the system will generate a Confirmation Page with unique Registration Number, which candidates should print out and use it for the further process.
  
  
• Printed Confirmation Page with affixed passport-size photograph & duly signed, along with the DD, should be submitted to:

  Vikas Marg (Opp. Metro Pillar No, 76)
  New Delhi – 110092               by registered / speed post on or before 7^th Sep, 2012.
  
  
• Candidates belonging to far-flung areas can send their Confirmation Page latest by 14^th Sep, 2012.
  
  
• Candidates should mention Application For CTET-Nov 2012 on the envelope (size 12 cm x 9 cm) in which the form would be sent.
