Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CMERI) under Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) has issued notification against recruitment of 6 Technician vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 6th Jul 2012.
Names of Trades
1. Library & Information Sc – 01 vacancy
2. Plumber – 02 vacancies
3. Carpenter – 01 vacancy
4. Mechanic (Motor vehicle) – 02 vacancies
Age Limit
Candidates’ age must be below 28 years for all the posts. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 6th Jul, 2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).
Eligibility conditions
Candidates must be SSC or 10th class pass outs with 55% and must hold ITI certificate in relevant trade.
Application Fee Details
Candidates need to pay Application Fee of Rs.100 in form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute and payable at SBI, Durgapur (Code No. 0074). SC/ST/PWD/Women/EXSM are exempted from payment of fee.
Selection Process
Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test, Trade Test and/or Interview.
