Applications are invited from experienced professionals for various faculty posts for the following positions:

• Professor

• Appointment of candidates is to be done on regular / contract basis, for the following subjects:

• Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of personal interview. Only short-listed candidates will be called for the interview. The interview schedule will be informed to all short-listed candidates.

Eligibility Conditions

For Professor

• PhD degree in the concerned / relevant discipline from a recognized University
  
  
• Should have published high quality of work with a minimum of 10 publications as books / research / policy papers
  
  
• Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in University / College or experience in Research at the University / National level institutions / industries
  
  
• Should have contributed in various educational innovation, design of new curricula & courses and technology - mediated teaching learning process
  
  
• Must have the minimum score as specified in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) set out in the UGC Regulations of 2010 in Appendix III

For Associate Professor

• PhD degree in the concerned / relevant discipline with good academic record from a recognized University
  
  
• Master’s Degree in the relevant disciplines with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Minimum 8 years of teaching experience on a position of Assistant professor in University / College
  
  
• Should have published high quality of work with a minimum of 5 publications as books / research / policy papers
  
  
• Should have contributed in various educational innovation, design of new curricula & courses and technology - mediated teaching learning process, with evidence of guiding doctoral candidates and research students
  
  
• Must have the minimum score as specifiedin the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in the UGC Regulations of 2010 in Appendix III

For Assistant Professor

• Master’s Degree in the relevant disciplines with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Candidates should have qualified NET / SLET / SET conducted by the UGC/CSIR
  
  
• Candidates having PhD degree are exempted from the condition of qualifying the NET / SLET / SET examinations.

• Exempted for SC / ST / PH / Female candidates

• Candidates can pay the fees amount in the Account Name “Central University of Bihar Recruitment”, Account No. 4458005500000287, Bank Name “Punjab National Bank, Raja Bazar, Patna”, IFS Code No. PUNB0445800, and Swift Code No. PUNBINBBDIB (For US Dollar).
  
  
• After paying the application fees, the bank will generate copies of Bank Challan with details, which candidates are required to keep with them for further process.
  
  
• Candidates should mention Name of the post applied for with subject and specialization, reserved post or unreserved post, and their name with full postal address on the reverse side of the Bank Challan.
  
  
• Application form, duly completed in all respect, along with passport-size photograph, Challan copy and copies of all required documents, should be submitted to
