Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into PG programs in various disciplines for 2012-13.

• M.A.  in Oriya
• M.A.  in Sociology
• M.A.  in Anthropology
• M.A.  in Economics
• M.A.  in Journalism
• M.A.  in Mass Communication
• M.A.  in Mathematics
• M.Sc. in Anthropology
• M.Sc. in Mathematics
• M.Sc. in Biodiversity & Conservation of Natural Resources 

Eligibility Conditions

• The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (10+2+3) with at least 45% marks in the concerned subject or in aggregate as the case may be.
  
  
• For five year integrated course in mathematics the candidates should have completed 10+2 with at least 45% marks.

How to Apply

• The application form and prospectus can be bought at the university counter by paying Rs.300 for general candidates and Rs.200 for SC/ST/PH candidate’s payable by bank draft drawn in favor of ‘Central University of Orissa’ payable at Bhubaneshawar.
  
  
• The application form and prospectus can also be obtained by post by sending a bank draft along with a self addressed (unstamped) envelope to the Registrar, Central University of Orissa, Camp Office at Type-C, Block-4, New Government Colony, Gajpati Nagar, Bhubaneshwar – 751017 (Odisha) or to The Registrar, Central University of Orissa (Old Central Silk Board Building), Landiguda, Koraput – 764020.
  
  
• The application form and prospectus can also be obtained in cash at counters of the university at Bhubaneswar and also at Landiguda, Koraput.
  
  
• The application form can also be downloaded from the official website – www.cuorissa.org. The filled in online application form along with a bank draft for the requisite fee should reach the the Registrar, Central University of Orissa, Camp Office at Type-C, Block-4, New Government Colony, Gajpati Nagar, Bhubaneshwar – 751017 (Odisha) or to The Registrar, Central University of Orissa (Old Central Silk Board Building), Landiguda, Koraput – 764020 by 17^th Jun, 2012.
  
  
• The last date for submitting filled in application form is 17^th Jun, 2012. 

Selection Procedure

• The selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in the All India Entrance Examination.

• Last date of issuing of application forms: 14^th Jun, 2012 (Thursday)
• Last date of receipt for filled in application form: 17^th Jun, 2012 (Sunday)
• Date of entrance examination:  7^th Jul, 2012 (Saturday) and 8^th Jul, 2012 (Sunday)
