All the eligible candidates are invited for the posts of Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Project Staff-II.

Note

• The recruitment is to be done purely on temporary, time bound and contractual basis. The appointments are being offered under the sponsored Research Project named “Development of Prototype Aprons, Glass Sheets and Curtains from Lead Free X-ray Absorbing Materials”.
• The recruitment will initially be done for one year which is likely to be extended for another 1 year or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier. Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of walk-in-interview, which is scheduled to be held on  4^th Jan, 2012 at 10.00 hrs at C-MET, Panchawati, Off Pashan Road, Pune - 411 008, Maharashtra.

Eligibility Conditions

• For SRF
  • Should have obtained M Sc First Class in Physics or Chemistry with NET / GATE / SET qualified / 2-3 years R & D experience in reputed lab / University College / Industry
  • Candidates having experience in similar field with published work will be preferred.
• For JRF
  • Should have obtained M Sc with 55% in Physics or Chemistry with NET / SET / GATE, or
  • Should have 1-2 years R & D experience in reputed Lab / University / College / Industry
• For Project Staff-II
  • Should have obtained B Sc First Class in Physics / Chemistry with 1-2 years R&D experience

Required Age

• For Senior Research Fellow: 32 years as on 4^th Jan, 2012
• For JRF & Project Staff: 28 years as on  4^th Jan, 2012

Note

Maximum age limit shall be relaxable up to five years for SC/ST and three years for OBC candidates.

Application Fee

• For SRF: Rs 100
• For JRF & Project Staff-II: Rs 50

Note: Application fee is exempted for SC/ST candidates.

How to Apply

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, are required to bring the application form in the format available on the website: http://cmet.gov.in/ on the day of walk-in-interview. The walk-in-interview is scheduled to be held on  4^th Jan, 2012 at 10.00 hrs at C-MET, Panchawati, Off Pashan Road, Pune - 411008
• The application fee (whichever applicable) should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of CMET, payable at Pune. However, the application fee is exempted for SC/ST candidates.
• Candidates appearing for the interview should bring the application form complete in all respect as per the format given in the website, along with the copies of testimonials and in original, along with them.
