Applications are invited from eligible candidates by Chenab Valley Power Projects Private Limited (CVPP), a joint venture company of NHPC Limited, JKSPDC and PTC (India) Limited, Jammu for recruitment 2012, for following various posts:

• Engineer (Civil)
• Engineer (Electrical)
• Engineer (Mechanical)
• Engineer (IT)
• Officer (HR)
• Accounts Officer
• Geologist
• Law Officer

Note

• Appointment of the candidates is to be done on fixed tenure basis for a period of one year, which can be extended for another period of one year. Selection of the candidates is to be done on the basis of Merit and Interview. Candidates short-listed on the basis of academic qualification and work experience will be called for the interview. The interview schedule will be intimated to all short-listed candidates.

Eligibility Conditions 

For Engineer (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical / IT)

• BE / B Tech / B Sc Degree in Civil Engineering or AMIE in Civil Engineering with minimum 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade from a recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE
           Or 
  BE / B Tech Degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering or B Sc Degree in Electrical Engineering or AMIE in Electrical Engineering with minimum 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade from a recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE   
            Or 
  BE / B Tech / B Sc Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Power Engineering or AMIE in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade from a recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE    
             Or 
  MCA / B Sc Degree in Computer Science or BE / B Tech Degree in IT / Computer Science or AMIE in Computer Science with minimum 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade from a recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE

For Officer (HR)

• Postgraduate Degree / Diploma in HRM / Personnel Management or MBA Degree with specialization in HR or Master ofSocial Work (MSW) with specialization in HRM / Personnel Management & Industrial Relations with minimum 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade from a recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE

For Accounts Officer

• CA / ICWA qualified from a reputed Institute recognized by appropriate statutory authority in India.

For Geologist

• M Sc Degree in Geology / M Tech Degree in Applied Geology (Should have studied Geology with Maths / Physics at Graduation level) with minimum 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade from a recognized Indian University / Institute

For Law Officer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (Professional) with minimum 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade from a recognized Indian University / Institute recognized by Bar Council of India 

Required Age

• Candidates should be below the age of 30 years (Age relaxation for the SC / ST / OBC / PWD candidates provided as per Government norms) 

Application Fee: Rs.150 (Exempted for SC / ST / PH candidates)

• Online registration began from  10^th May, 2012 and will close on  8^th June, 2012.
  
  
• For paying the application fees, candidates can obtain a DD for Rs.150, drawn in favor of Chenab Valley Power Projects Private Limited, payable at Jammu.
  
  
• Candidates have to fill the DD details i.e., DD No., Date of Issuance and Bank / Branch Name, in the online application form for its completion.
  
  
• After successful submission of the application form, the system will generate a Unique Registration Number (URN) and Registration Slip, of which candidates should take two printouts and use it for the further process.
  
  
• Printed registration slip, along with passport-size photograph, DD and attested (by Gazetted Officer) copies of all relevant certificates, should be submitted to the
