Candidates’ selection will be made on the basis of their performance in All India Selection Test (Written Test) and Personal Interview. Candidates short-listed on the basis of written test will be called for the personal interview. The written test is scheduled to be held on  22^nd Jul, 2012. The test will be held at Kolkata, Ranchi, Mumbai, Bhubaneshwar, Srinagar, Guwahati, Raipur, Bhopal, Lucknow, Delhi, Jaipur, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai centers. The test schedule and centre address will be mentioned in the candidate’s admit card.

Eligibility Conditions

For Mining / Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Chemical / Mineral / Industrial Engineering / Electronics & Telecommunications

• BE / B Tech / AMIE / B Sc Degree of Engineering in relevant branch with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute

For Systems

• BE / B Tech / B Sc Degree of Engineering in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / IT or MCA Degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute

For Environment

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering with minimum 60% marks in aggregate
        Or
  Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering with Postgraduate Degree / Diploma in Environmental Engineering with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute

For Geology

• M Sc / M Tech Degree in Geology / Applied Geology with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute

For Materials Management

• Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering with MBA Degree / Postgraduate Diploma in Management with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute

For Finance & Accounts

• Qualified CA / ICWA from a recognized University / Institute

For Personnel & HR

• Bachelor’s Degree with two years of Postgraduate Degree / Diploma / Postgraduate Program in Management with specialization in HR / Industrial Relations / Personnel Management
       or
   MHROD or MBA Degree or Master of Social Work with specialization in HR with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute

For Legal

• Bachelor’s Degree of Law with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute

For Sales & Marketing

• Bachelor’s Degree with MBA Degree / Postgraduate Diploma in Management with specialization in Marketing (major) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute

For Rajbhasha (Hindi)

• MA Degree in Hindi with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and Graduation with Hindi and English as main subjects with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute 

Required Age

Candidates should be above the age of 18 years and below the age of 28 years (Age relaxation for the SC / ST / OBC / PWD / EXS candidates as per Government norms) 

Application Fee: Rs.500 (Exempted for SC / ST / PWD candidates / regular employees of CIL) 

How to Apply

• Online registration commences from  21^st May, 2012 and will close on  11^th Jun, 2012 till 11.59 pm.
  
  
• Before filling the online application form, candidates have to pay a fee amount of Rs.500, through Challan, which can be downloaded from the official website of CIL.
  
  
• Candidates can make the payment of fees amount in any branch of State Bank of India, in the Account No. and Account Name mentioned on the Challan.
  
  
• After payment of the fees, the bank will generate a complete Challan with information of Transaction ID, Branch Name, and Date of Deposit & Amount on it, which candidates are required to fill in the online application form for its completion.
  
  
• After successful submission of the application form, the system will generate a Complete Application Form with Unique Registration Number and Password, of which candidates should take a printout and use it for the further process.
  
  
• Printed Application Form, along with self-attested affixed passport-size photographs, Challan copy, and self-attested copies of all relevant certificates, should be submitted to

  by ordinary post on or before  18^th Jun, 2012.
  
  
• Candidates should mention “Management Trainee (Discipline Name)” on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
