Eligibility Conditions

For Scientists

PhD Degree in Microbiology / Zoology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Chemistry / Life Sciences / Library Sciences / Information Sciences from a recognized University with research experience in the relevant field Or
M Sc Degree in Life Sciences / Chemical Sciences with Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law, with 60% in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute and LLB in Intellectual Property Law with minimum 2 years working experience in the relevant field Or
M Vet Sc Degree in Veterinary Microbiology / Bacteriology from a recognized University with working experience in Microbial and Viral Screening of Veterinary
Diseases including Laboratory Animal Or
B Tech / M Sc Degree in any discipline with Postgraduate Degree in Intellectual Property Law with 60% in aggregate from a recognized University, with minimum 3 years of working experience in the relevant field Or
ME / M Tech Degree or PhD Degree in Science / Engineering with MBA Degree / PGDM in HR from a recognized Institute.

For Senior Scientists

PhD Degree in Life Sciences / Microbiology / Immunology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Biochemistry / Chemistry / Organic Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry from a recognized University with minimum 2 years of working experience in the relevant field Or
MBBS Degree with PhD Degree in Pharmacology from a recognized University or PhD Degree in Pharmacology from a recognized University with minimum 2 years of working experience in the relevant field.

Application Fee: Rs 100/- (Exempted for SC / ST / PWD / CSIR employees)

For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain the Bankers Cheque / DD for Rs 100/- drawn in favor of Director, Central Drug Research Institute, payable at Lucknow.
Application form duly complete in all respect, along with a recent passport-size photograph, DD and attested copies of all relevant certificates, should be submitted to the Director, Central Drug Research Institute, Chattar Manzil Palace, Post Box No 173, Lucknow (UP) - 226001, by post before April 24^th April, 2012.
Candidates belong from aboard can send their application form with required attachments before 10^th May, 2012.
Candidates should mention “Advertisement No ____________ and Post Code ___________” on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
Candidates applying for various posts should apply with different application forms for each post.
