Applications are invited from qualified and skilled professionals for various positions for the following positions:

• Scientist / Senior Scientist (Agronomy / Soil Science)
• Scientist / Senior Scientist (Plant Biochemistry/Plant Biotechnology)
• Scientist / Senior Scientist (Structural Chemistry)
• Scientist / Senior Scientist (For CSIR-800 Rural Sector Program)
• Scientist / Senior Scientist (Agronomy)
• Scientist / Senior Scientist (Publications) 

Note

• Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of personal interview.
• Candidates short-listed in the initial screening on the basis of their qualification and work experience will be called for the interview.

Eligibility Conditions 

• Ph.D Degree in the allied subject from a recognized University for the post of Scientist or PhD Degree in the allied subject with minimum 2 years postdoctoral research experience in related area for the post of Senior Scientist Or
• M.Sc Degree in the relevant subject with MBA Degree from a recognized University for the post of Scientist or M Sc Degree in the relevant subject with MBA Degree and minimum 3 years of working experience in relevant area for the post of Senior Scientist
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the relevant field is desirable. 

Required Age

• 32 years: Scientist
• 37 years: Senior Scientist 

Application Fee: Rs 100/- (Exempted for SC / ST / PH / Regular Employees of CSIR) 

How to Apply

• Willing candidates can download the application format from the official link of CIMAP: http://www.cimap.res.in/cimapdev/images/stories/Advertisement/applicationform.pdf
• Candidates can also obtain the application form from CIMAP counter by sending a self-addressed envelope (23 cm x 10 cm) affixed with postal stamp of Rs 10 and mentioning the Advertisement No., Position No. and Name of the post applied for on it, to the Administrative Officer, Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Post Office CIMAP, Lucknow (UP) - 226015, before  20^th April, 2012.
• For paying the application fees, candidates can obtain a DD for Rs 100/-, drawn in favor of Director, Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Lucknow, payable at State Bank of India, Main Branch, Lucknow.
• Application form duly complete in all respect, along with a passport-size photograph, DD and attested copies of all relevant documents, should be submitted to the Administrative Officer, Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, PO CIMAP, Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) - 226015, by post on or before  25^th April, 2012.
• Candidates also have to mail the scanned copy of complete application form with the required documents on the Email ID: recruitment@cimap.res.in.
• Candidates should apply with separate application form for each post.
