Note

Candidates’ selection will be made on the basis of their performance in academics and test / interview.
Candidates short-listed in the initial screening by the selection committee, will be called for test / interview.
The schedule of test / interview and center address will be mentioned in the candidate’s call letter.

Eligibility Conditions

For Scientist

PhD Degree in Engineering / Science in the relevant field from a recognized University Or
ME / M Tech Degree in the relevant field from a recognized University / Institute Or
B Tech / M Sc Degree in the relevant field with 1st class division or 60% in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute with Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property Law from a recognized University / Institute
Candidates should be below the age of 32 years.

For Senior Scientist

PhD Degree in Engineering in the relevant field from a recognized University Or
PhD Degree in Science in the relevant field from a recognized University with minimum 2 years of working experience in the relevant field Or
ME / M Tech Degree in the relevant field from a recognized University / Institute with minimum 3 years of working experience in the relevant field Or
B Tech / M Sc Degree in the relevant field with 1st class division or 60% in aggregate from a recognized University class with Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property Law and minimum 3years of working experience in the relevant field.
Candidates should be below the age of 37 years.

Application Fee: Rs 100/- (Exempted for SC / ST / PWD / Women / Regular employees of CSIR)

Online registration will commence from 1^st March, 2012.
Candidates can also applying with download application form, which is available on the official website of NISCAIR.
For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain the DD for Rs 100/-, drawn in the favor of Director, NISCAIR, payable at New Delhi.
After submitting the application form, candidates should take a printout of the filled-in application form, as it will have to be submitted for the further process.
Printed application form or Download Application form, duly complete in all respect along with a passport size photograph, DD and attested copies of all the relevant certificates, should be submitted to the Controller of Administration, National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources (NISCAIR), Pusa Campus, Dr. K S Krishnan Marg, New Delhi - 110012, by post on or before 10^th April, 2012.
Candidates should mention “Application for the Post of Scientist (Post Code and Category” on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
