CRPF has invited applications for 762 vacancies of Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant), Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant) and Dental Surgeon(Assistant Commandant) in Central Armed Police Forces (BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB and Assam Rifles).
The details of the vacancies is as follows:
- Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant): 232
- Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant): 428
- Dental Surgeon (Assistant Commandant): 102
- Junior Engineer: 4
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
For Specialist Medical Officers:
Aspiring candidates should be holding a recognised medical qualification of allopathic system of medicines included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and and post graduate degree/diploma in the concerned speciality.
For Medical Officers:
Aspiring candidates should be holding a recognised medical qualification of allopathic system of medicines included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
For Dental Surgeon:
Aspiring candidates should be holding a degree (bachelor of dental surgery) from a recognised university/institution and should be registered with Dental Council of India.
Age limit:
For Specialist Medical Officers:
The age of the candidates applying for these posts must not exceed 40 years.
For Medical Officers:
The age of the candidates applying for these posts must not exceed 30 years.
For Dental Surgeon:
The age of the candidates applying for these posts must not exceed 35 years.
Pay Scale
For Specialist Medical Officers:
The selected candidates will be getting a monthly salary of Rs 67,700 to Rs 20,8700.
For Medical Officers:
The selected candidates will be getting a monthly salary of Rs 56,100 to Rs 17,75,00.
For Dental Surgeon:
The selected candidates will be getting a monthly salary of Rs 56,100 to Rs 17,75,00.
Selection procedure
The candidates will be selected on the basis of an interview and medical examination.
