Applications are invite from knowledgeable professionals for various posts for the following positions:

• Joint Director (Tariff - Finance)
• Deputy Director (Law)
• Deputy Director (Tariff Economics)
• Deputy Secretary 

Note

• Recruitment of the candidates is to be done on deputation / contract basis. Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Interview. Candidates short-listed in the initial screening on the basis of academics and work experience will be called for the interview. The schedule of interview will be intimated to all short-listed candidates.

Eligibility Conditions 

For Joint Director (Tariff - Finance)

• Master’s Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Commerce or CA / ICWA from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institute is desirable.
  
  
• Should have work experience in Financial Analysis of Investment decisions in Power Sector
  
  
• Should be an Officer, holding analogous post on regular basis with 2 years of regular service in pay scale of Rs.12000-16500 (pre-revised) scale or 5 years of regular service in pay scale of Rs.10000-15200 (pre-revised scale)
  
  
• Should have sound knowledge of Financial Procedures in Commercial Enterprises
  
  
• Experience in Financial Analysis of Investment Decisions in Commercial Enterprises / Power Sector Organizations, and Examinations of Power Purchase Agreements is desirable.

For Deputy Director (Law)

• Degree of Law from a recognized University / Law School
  
  
• Should be an Officer, holding analogous post son regular basis
        Or
  3 years of regular service in the pay scale of Rs.8000-13500 or 5 years of regular service in pay scale of Rs.7500-12000 or 8 years of regular service in the pay scale of Rs.6500-10500
  
  
• Experience in handling Legal Matters in Middle Level Position in Central Govt. or State Govt. or any PSU, involving Administrative, Commercial & Contract Law, is desirable.
  
  
• Should have experience in Drafting Statues and Legislations

For Deputy Director (Tariff Economics)

• Master’s Degree in Economics or MBA Degree in Finance or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Should be an Officer, holding analogous posts on regular basis or 3 years of regular service in the pay scale of Pay Band - 2 with Grade Pay Rs.5400 or 8 years of regular service in Pay Band - 2 with Grade Pay Rs.4800
  
  
• Should have work experience in Economic Analysis
  
  
• Should have sound Knowledge of Financial Procedure in Commercial Enterprises / Govt. Accounting Procedures
  
  
• Experience of Analytical Modelling including Spreadsheet & Database Skills is desirable.
  
  
• Good Knowledge of Operational Research will be an added advantage.

For Deputy Secretary

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• MBA Degree from recognized Institute is desirable.
  
  
• Should be an Officer, holding analogous posts on regular basis or 4 years of regular service in Pay Band - 2 Rs.9300 - 34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4800 or 6 years of regular service in Pay Band - 2 Rs.9300 - 34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4600 or 8 years of regular service in PB-2 Grade Pay Rs.4200
  
  
• Should have work experience in power sector, with ability to handle matters related to Electricity Regulatory Commissions, and have sound knowledge of Electricity Law, Rules and Regulations 

Required Age

• Candidates should be below the age of 56 years.
• Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / PH candidates provided as per government norms
