Note

• Recruitment of the candidates is to be done on deputation / contract basis. However, the preferred mode of recruitment is Deputation from Central / State / UT Government Departments, Statutory / Autonomous / Constitutional / Cooperative / Local Government Bodies and Public Sector Undertakings, Corporations etc. under administrative control of Central / State / UT Governments.

Eligibility Conditions

Essential Qualification(s)

For Executive Director

• Should have obtained a Post Graduate degree in Economics / MBA (Finance) from a recognized university
                             Or
  Should have obtained a graduate Degree in Electrical / Power Engineering, or equivalent from a recognized institution
  
  
• Officers holding analogous Posts on regular basis or with 2 years regular service in the PB-4 GP Rs.8900 or equivalent, or with 3 years regular service in the PB-4 GP Rs.8700 or equivalent
  
  

Desired Qualification(s)

• Should have experience as professional economist / power engineering
  
  
• Should have experience in development of tariff in power sector utilities
  
  
• Should have experience in commercial enterprises
  
  
• Should have demonstrated capabilities in analytical modeling 

For Joint Director (Performance Standard and Engineering)

Essential Qualification(s)

• Should have obtained a Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution
  
  
• Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis OR with 2 year regular service in PB-3 GP Rs.7600, or with 5 years regular service in PB-3 GP Rs.6600

Desired Qualification (s)

• Should have experience in large public utilities with generation, transmission and distribution facilities
  
  
• Should have experience in development of electricity tariffs, commercial issues and power purchase agreements
  
  
• Should have familiarity with Indian Electricity Laws

For Joint Director (Tariff-Engineering)

Essential Qualification(s)

• Should have obtained Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent from a recognized Institution
  
  
• Should have experience in development of tariffs in Power Sector utilities
  
  
• Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis or with 2 year regular service in PB-3 GP Rs.7600 or with 5 years regular service in PB-3 GP Rs.6600

Desired Qualification(s)

• Should have obtained Post Graduate qualifications in Finance / Financial Management
  
  
• Should have experience as Power Engineer including management responsibilities in middle level position
  
  
• Should have sound knowledge of commercial matters pertaining to Power Sector
  
  
• Should have familiarity with Indian Electricity Laws

For Joint Director (Law)

Essential Qualification (s)

• Should have obtained Law Degree from a recognized University
  
  
• Should be an officer holding analogous posts on regular basis or with 2 years regular service in Pay Band-3, Grade Pay – Rs.7600 or with 5 years regular service in Pay Band-3, Grade Pay – Rs.6600

Desired Qualification(s)

• Should have experience in regulatory laws
  
  
• Should have knowledge in the Power Sector
  
  
• Should have experience in contract / administrative law
  
  
• Should have experience in handling litigations

For Deputy Director (Tariff Accounts and Finance Analysis)

Essential Qualification (s)

• Should have obtained Post Graduate degree in Accountancy or equivalent from a recognized institution or should be a qualified Chartered Accountant, or Should have obtained Post Graduate Degree in Finance or Officers belonging to organized Accounts services, such as Indian Audit & Accounts Service, Indian Railway Account Service, Indian Defence Account Service, Indian Civil Account Service etc.
  
  
• Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis OR with 3 years regular service in the PB-2 Grade Pay with Rs.5400 or equivalent or with 8 years regular service in the PB-2 Grade Pay Rs.4800

Desired Qualification(s)

• Should have experience in professional accounting and management of Staff
  
  
• Should have sound knowledge of financial procedure in Commercial enterprises / Govt. Accounting procedures
  
  
• Should have experience in financial analysis of investment decisions in commercial enterprises, examination of power purchase agreements
  
  
• Should have obtained a Graduate degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Power) equivalent from a recognized Institute

For Personal Assistant

Essential Qualification(s)

• Should be a Graduate with proficiency in English Typing (40 wpm) & English Shorthand (80 wpm)
  
  
• Should have obtained a Diploma / Certificate in Office Management & Secretariat Procedure or equivalent from a recognized / reputed institution

Desired Qualification(s)

• Should have experience of three years service in Central / State Government or any PSUs of Central / State Govt. involving exposure for computer operations

For Steno-cum-Computer Operator

Essential Qualification(s)

• Should be a Graduate with proficiency in English Typing (40 wpm) & English Shorthand (80 wpm)
  
  
• Should have obtained a Diploma / Certificate in Office Management & Secretariat Procedure or equivalent from a recognized / reputed institution

Desired Qualification(s)
