Applications are invited from well-educated and competent aspirants for following various posts:

• Executive Director (Tariff)
• Joint Director (Performance Standard & Engineering)
• Advisor (Finance)
• Deputy Director (Pay & Accounts)
• Deputy Director (Tariff Economics)
• Deputy Secretary
• Junior Law Officer

Note

• The recruitment is to be done on direct / deputation / contractual basis. Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in academic qualification and personal interview.

Eligibility Conditions

For Executive Director (Tariff)

• Master’s Degree in Economics or MBA (Finance) from a recognized University / Institute Or
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Power Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institute
• Should be working as officers in analogous posts on regular basis, with 2 years of regular service in the Pay Band 4 Rs 37400-67000 with Grade Pay Rs 8900 or its equivalent Or 3 years of regular service in the Pay Band 4 Rs 37400-67000 with Grade Pay Rs 8700 or its equivalent pay.

For Joint Director (Performance Standard & Engineering)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institute / University.
• Should be working as officers in analogous posts on regular basis, with 2 years of regular service in Pay Band 3 Rs 15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs 7600 Or 5 years of regular service in Pay Band 3 Rs 15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs 6600.

For Advisor (Finance)

• MBA Degree in Finance or Chartered Accountant or Certified Cost Accountant preferably with Engineering Degree from a recognized University / institute
• Should be working as officers in analogous posts on regular basis, with 2 year regular service in Pay Band 3 of Rs 15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs 7600 or 5 years of regular service in Pay Band 3 Rs 15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs 6600.

For Deputy Director (Pay & Accounts / Tariff Economics)

• Bachelor’s Degree of Commerce or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Qualified Chartered Accountant Or
• Master’s Degree in Economics / MBA (Finance) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University
• Should be working as officers in analogous posts on regular basis with 3 year regular service in the pay scale of Pay Band 2 with Grade Pay Rs 5400 or 8 years regular service in Pay Band 2 with Grade Pay Rs 4800
• Good working knowledge of Computer Application.

For Deputy Secretary

• Bachelor’s Degree in nay discipline from a recognized University / Institute
• MBA Degree from recognized Institute is desirable
• Should be working as officers in analogous posts on regular basis with 4 year regular service in Pay Band 2 Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4800 or 6 years regular service in Pay Band 2 Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4600 with 8 years of regular service in PB-2 GP Rs 4200.

For Junior Law Officer

• LLB Degree from a recognized University
• Should be working as officers in analogous posts on regular basis with2 years of regular service in Pay Band 2 Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4600 or 4 years of regular service in Pay Band 2 Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4200.

Required Age

• 50 years: Executive Director / Joint Director / Advisor
• 45 years: Deputy Director
• 35 years: Deputy Secretary
• 40 years: Junior Law Officer

Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / PH candidates as per government norms.

• Application form duly complete in all respect, along with a passport-size photograph and self-attested photocopies of all relevant certificates, should be submitted to Secretary, Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission, Viniyamak Bhavan, C-Block, Shivalik, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi - 110017, by post on or before April 4, 2012.
• Candidates should mention “Name of the Post Applied for________ and Mode of Recruitment________” on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
• Candidates should apply with separate application form for each post.
