Eligibility Conditions

For Positions in Engineering

Essential Qualification & Relevant Experience:

• Professor
• Should have completed PhD in the relevant area along with 1st class in B Tech / BE and M Tech / ME degree
• Should have relevant experience of 6 years as Associate Professor or equivalent with AGP Rs 9000 and above in PB-4
• Associate Professor
• Should have completed PhD in the relevant area along with 1st class in B Tech / BE and M Tech / ME degree
• Should have relevant experience of 6 years as Assistant Professor or equivalent with AGP Rs 7000 and above in PB-3 or 8 years of service as Assistant Professor with AGP of Rs 6000 in the PB-3

For Positions in Applied Sciences & Humanities

Essential Qualification & Relevant Experience:

• Professor
• Should have completed PhD in the relevant area along with 1st class in UG and PG degrees
• Should have relevant experience of 6 years as Associate Professor or equivalent with AGP Rs 9000 and above in PB-4
• Associate Professor
• Should have completed PhD in the relevant area along with 1st class in UG and PG degrees
• Should have relevant experience of 6 years as Assistant Professor or equivalent with AGP Rs 7000 and above in PB-3 or 8 years of service as Assistant Professor with AGP of Rs 6000 in the PB-3

For Position in Management

Essential Qualification & Relevant Experience:

• Professor
• Should have completed PhD with 1st class in MBA/UG/PG degrees
• Should have relevant experience of 6 years as Associate Professor or equivalent with AGP Rs 9000 and above in PB-4
• Associate Professor
• Should have completed PhD with 1st class in MBA/UG/PG/M Tech degrees
• Should have relevant experience of 6 years as Assistant Professor or equivalent with AGP Rs 7000 and above in PB-3

Required Age

• For Professor - 55 years as on  6^th Jan, 2012
• For Associate Professor - 50 years as on  6^th Jan, 2012

Application Fee: Rs 500/- (for General Candidates) & Rs 250/- (for SC/OBC/PH Candidates)

How To Apply

• The prescribed application form (whichever applicable) should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of “Registrar, Delhi Technological University”, payable at Delhi.
• The duly filled in application form should be submitted along with attested copies of Educational and Professional Qualifications, Experience, Caste Certificate/PH Certificate (in case claiming benefit of reservation) and DD, in the University campus at the Reception Counter, Administrative Block, latest by  6^th Jan, 2012 (up to 5.00 pm).
• The application can also be sent through post to the Registrar, Delhi Technological University, Shahbad Daulatpur, Bawana Road, Delhi - 110042, latest by the last date mentioned.
